Fractal and bundles¶
Fractal is Hypna’s free desktop companion: an offline app built on Electron and Angular that uses the same HypnoSpec player engine as the website, so a session plays identically in both. It keeps itself up to date and is in early alpha, so expect bugs; report them on the Discord.

Moving content with .hypnabundle files¶
A Hypna Bundle is a zip file containing a project or a single session plus all of its media. It is how content moves between Hypna and Fractal, and between accounts.
On Hypna, open a project and use Export project bundle, or a session’s Export button in its editor.
In Fractal, choose Import bundle….
Anything made in Fractal exports the same way and can be imported back into Hypna from the Projects page (Import) or into an existing project (Import a session bundle). Imported projects arrive hidden.
Creators decide whether other users may export their projects with the Allow other users to export this project setting. Bundles never contain account details, history or run records. External audio and spiral URLs stay as links; media the session uploaded travels inside the bundle.
Size limits are listed in Limits.
Fractal keeps everything on your own disk, so the website’s storage quotas do not apply to it.
